Arnold Schwarzenegger, Elijah Wood & Other Hollywood Stars Who Visited India

India has become one of the hottest destinations for many Hollywood celebrities. Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger had come to Chennai to attend the audio launch function of 'I', which was formerly known as Ai. For the first time in his career, Arnold launching the audio of an Indian movie and will unveil the music album of the Tamil movie today (September 15) at Nehru Stadium.

Now The Lord Of The Rings fame Elijah Wood has come to India and has been traveling in Delhi and Mumbai with his DJing partner Zach Cowie. The DJs performed at the Trilogy nightclub on Thursday night. Wood and Cowie will also perform in Delhi and Hyderabad later in the week.

Earlier, Jackie Chan had launched the music of Kamal Hassan starrer Dasavatharam. UNHCR brand ambassador Angelina Jolie too came to India earlier this year for a social cause. She has visited India before quite a couple of times. While some Hollywood stars come for launches, there are many who choose India for a holiday or to shoot their movies. There are many reasons which makes the Hollywood stars take a trip down to India. For example, Richard Gere is an active practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism and visits Sikkim in India quite often.

Demi Moore too came to India seeking spirituality. She was snapped at Mcleodganj in Himachal Pradesh along with her spiritual guru Hargopal Kaur Khalsa. Demi also attended a mind and life conference called Craving, Desire and Addiction, where Dalai Lama was the speaker.

Other stars like Lady Gaga, Akon, Shakira and many more have come to India for tours and concerts.
