Cannes Film Festival 2014 Opens With Grace Of Monaco

The much awaited Cannes Film Festival 2014 is commencing today. Like every year, Cannes opens on a grand note. This year too, the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival is spectacular.

Cannes Film Festival 2014 is opening with the much talked about films, Grace of Monaco. It is an American-French biography film based on the life of Grace Kelly. Grace of Monaco which is going to be premiered at Cannes opening ceremony is written by Arash Amel. Grace Of Monaco directed by French director Olivier Dahan of Oscar-winning film La Vie En Rose. Bollywood actor Uday Chopra who is known for his role in Dhoom series is also going to attend the opening ceremony of Cannes 2014. Uday Chopra is at Cannes 2014 as his first project as a co-producer of Grace Of Monaco is going to be premiered at the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival.

The film stars Nicole Kidman in the titular role. Grace of Monaco is focused on former Hollywood star Grace Kelly's crisis of marriage and identity, during a dispute between Monaco's Prince Rainier III and France's Charles de Gaulle in 1962.

Cannes Film Festival 2014 Opens With Grace Of Monaco

Grace of Monaco is a homage to Princess Grace, formerly Grace Kelly, and focuses on her alleged courage in keeping plucky little Monaco safe for tax-avoiding billionaires.

Grace of Monaco which is opening the 67th Cannes Film Festival 2014 also stars Tim Roth, Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Derek Jacobi, Paz Vega, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, and Milo Ventimiglia.

Last year, The Great Gatsby was shown at the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival 2013. Bollywood's superstar Amitabh Bachchan was there at the opening ceremony. He had acted in The Great Gatsby with Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher to name a few.
