Eva
Mendes
is
back
and
has
done
her
first
photo
shoot
post
delivery.
After
delivering
the
little
baby
girl
with
partner,
Ryan
Gosling,
the
couple
have
been
making
news
for
the
weird
baby
name.
Eva
and
Ryan
named
their
daughter,
Esmeralda
Amada.
Since
the
birth,
both
Ryan
and
Eva
have
been
spending
time
with
their
daughter.
After
2
months,
Eva
is
back
and
has
opened
up
about
her
pregnancy
and
reason
why
she
named
their
daughter,
Esmeralda
Amada.
Telling
Violet
Grey‘s
digital
magazine,
The
Violet
Files,
that
she
and
Ryan
had
knew
that
they
were
expecting
a
girl.
So,
they
were
"really
excited
about
naming
her."
"Ryan
and
I
both
love
the
Esmeralda
character
from
the
Victor
Hugo
novel,
The
Hunchback
of
Notre
Dame,
and
we
just
think
it's
a
beautiful
name," Mendes
explained.
The
name
has
family
significance
also,
she
revealed.
"Amada
was
my
grandmother's
name.
It
means
‘beloved'
in
Spanish."

Eva
Mendes
also
explained
why
she
doesn't
need
a
nanny
to
help
her
with
the
little
one.
"Esmeralda
has
two
amazing
grandmothers
and
incredible
aunties
who
come
over
and
really
help
me,"
the
actress
said.
"But
as
far
as
a
nanny
or
a
night
nurse,
for
me
that
part
of
being
a
mother
at
this
early
stage
is
the
struggle
of
not
being
able
to
sleep
and
not
knowing
what
I'm
doing
and
really
going
through
it
with
her
and
battling
out
those
nights."
The
new
mother
has
her
ups
and
downs
in
motherhood.
She
explains,
I
do
go
to
babycenter.com
and
read
the
comment
sections
from
other
mothers
because
I
find
so
much
solace
in
that."
"Just
knowing
that
I'm
not
alone
out
there
and
that
other
moms
have
gone
through
the
same
thing
can
at
least
get
me
through
the
night," Eva
added.
