Happy Birthday Hugh Jackman: His Best Non Action Films

Happy birthday the handsome Hugh Jackman. Yes it is the birthday of the actor who was titled the Sexiest Man Alive in 2008. The actor who is best known for his X-Men movies has turned 45 today.

Well, we all consider Hugh Jackman in the list of Hollywood's best action heroes, thanks to his larger-than-life characters in Wolverine and X-Men series. However, the handsome star has also done some other genres which makes the Australian star an all-rounder. He is also a singer, dancer, and actor in stage musicals, and won a Tony Award for his role in The Boy from Oz.

When we think about his other genres, the first movie that comes to mind is the 2013's Oscar winning Les Misérables. His work in Les Misérables earned him his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor and his first Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Motion Picture Musical or Comedy in 2013.

The Oscar and Golden Globe winning 2012's British epic romantic musical historical drama is another in the non action films list of Hugh Jackman.

Someone Like You

The 2001's romantic comedy is based on Laura Zigman's novel Animal Husbandry which tells a story of a heartbroken woman who is looking for the reason she was dumped.


Again a sizzling hot chemistry of Hugh Jackman and investigative journalist Scarlett Johansson is seen in this romantic comedy.
