Actress
Reese
Witherspoon,
who
signed
up
to
play
Cheryl
Strayed
in
upcoming
film
'Wild',
said
she
wanted
to
be
as
real
and
truthful
as
possible.
The
38-year-old
actress
agreed
to
film
some
naked
scenes
for
the
big-screen
adaptation.
In
an
interview
with
the
Vogue,
Reese
opened
up
about
how
difficult
it
was
for
her
to
shoot
the
naked
scenes.
"I
had
to
make
a
choice
when
I
decided
to
do
the
film
on
how
much
I
wanted
to
bear.
I
have
a
real
story
to
tell
here
because
Cheryl
was
completely
honest
when
she
wrote
her
book." In
fact
Reese
Witherspoon
was
so
worried,
she
had
to
hire
a
hypnotist
to
film
the
bold
scene.

"It
(naked
scene)
was
scary
and
challenging.
It's
not
just
a
movie
about
somebody
walking.
It's
really
about
someone
who
feels
profoundly
hurt
and
lost,"
she
said.
Witherspoon
played
a
former
heroin
addict
who
decided
to
tackle
a
1,100-mile
hike
after
experiencing
several
tragic
events,
mainly
a
devastating

by
drug
