Sofia Vergara Tops Highest Paid TV Actresses List For 3rd Time!

The 'Modern Family' star Sofia Vergara has been declared the highest paid actress on television of this year. Sofia topped the list of highest paid TV actresses for the third time in a row.

With an earning of $37 million from June 2013 to June 2014, the "Modern Family" star has topped the highest paid TV actresses' list of Forbes magazine.The 42-year-old actress earned significantly more than the top paid actor, Ashton Kutcher! Ashton made some $US26 million ($28.13 million), according to Forbes magazine's 2014 list published on Wednesday.

Sofia Vergara reportedly makes $US325,000 an episode for Modern Family. However, the actress earns much more from endorsements.

Apart from this, Sofia is also the co-founder of multimillion-dollar talent management and marketing firm, Latin World Entertainment. Sofia also launched her own perfume sometime back.

Mariska Hargitay is one the second place while Kaley Cuoco and Julianna Margulies are in the third and fourth place respectively.

Alyson Hannigan, Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington and Zooey Deschanel are in the top 10 list of highest paid TV actresses.

Vergara earns more than the highest paying male star Ashton Kutcher, who collected $26 million last year for his work on "Two and a Half Men".

In second spot on the list is occupied by Mariska Hargitay, the star of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" with an estimated earning of $13 million, followed by "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting minting $11 million.
