Taylor Swift has got into a new catfight. This time is none other than her frenemy Katy Perry. After the shocking revelations done by Taylor Swift on Rolling Stone's interview, the October issue's covergirl has landed into a fight with Katy Perry. Taylor accepted that the angriest song (Bad Blood) on her new album is about another female artist she didn't name. ''For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,'' the crossover country-pop songstress told the magazine. ''She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?''' Taylor continued, ''She did something so horrible," Swift said. "I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.'"
Now the catfight is getting ugly as Katy Perry has replied back Taylor through her Twitter post. Just hours after the release of your interview, she cryptically tweeted: "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing..." Regina George linked to the name of Mean Girls' movie where the chief mean girl tried to destroy the lives of her girl enemies by talking viciously about them behind their backs.
A cold war between singers Taylor Swift and Katy Perry broke out when three of the former's dancers shifted to the latter's troupe a year ago.
Swift continues to hold a grudge over the matter, so much so that she even wrote a song titled "Bad blood".
Taylor Swift felt betrayed because she became very close to the dancers and considered them family, but they wanted to work with Katy Perry.
However, the three dancers had actually worked with Perry first, and her tour ended several years ago, they needed work that's when they signed up as dancers during Swift's tour.
The three dancers told Swift they can't be on her full tour and asked for a 30-day out with the intent that they could join Perry on her tour. But Swift became so upset that she fired the trio.
