WATCH: Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's Troubled Marriage In 'By The Sea' Trailer

Months before the trailer of 'By The Sea' was dropped, we were updated that the movie starring Angelina Jolie Pitt and Brad Pitt is going to focus on a troubled marriage.

The 1 minute and 15 seconds trailer gave us goosebumps as we see how Angelina and Brad hate each other in this highly anticipated film. Harry Nilsson's Perfect Day plays in the background.

The pair's characters are disconnected and this affects their married life. The very first scene shows Roland (Brad) a writer, while Vanessa (Angelina) a former dancer, sits and sulks in a room as tears stroll down from her eyes after arriving at a seaside resort in 1970s France.

"Are we ever going to talk about it?" Roland is heard asking. "Do you hate me?" Vanessa replies, "You know my reason." The trailer also shows Angelina trying to commit suicide.

The trailer also shows some abuse with both Jolie and Pitt hitting each other. Roland asks his wife "You wanna hurt me?" as Vanessa snaps back "You're nothing."

"Hurt me" Roland insists before Vanessa slaps him hard around the face in the trailer.

The clip concludes with Pitt walking out on his wife who lies still on the floor with no clue as to what exactly happened to her.

Set in the 70s, 'By The Sea' trailer is laying focus on a troubled life of warring married couple, Angelina Jolie Pitt and Brad Pitt who try to reconnect at a French Resort.

This is their first film together as married couple. Brangelina last worked together in 2005's Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2005 where they fell in love on the sets.
