Watch: David Beckham Went On His Son Brooklyn's First Date!

David Beckham is cool yet a concerned dad too! He recently revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden where he spilled beans on his son, Brooklyn's first date.

When you have a father like the DAVID BECKHAM, going on a date can be really troublesome. However, the former football player got candid on The Late Late Show with James Corden where he explained what happened when his son, Brooklyn went on his first date.

David Beckham told James Corden that he was indeed present and correct at now-sixteen-year-old Brooklyn's first date two years ago!

While the footballer player was telling the story of his son's first date, Brooklyn was seated in the audience blushing and covering up his face. David prefaced the amazing story with "he's going to hate me for this", but proceeded to tell it anyway.

"[Brooklyn] was about 14 and half, Victoria was actually in London and it was Valentine's Day and he said 'I'd love to take this girl to dinner' and I said 'OK great'," David said.

However, Brooklyn's mommy, Victoria Beckham was not happy to send her son all alone on his first date, so she said it is only possible if David accompanied. She asked David to sit in the same restaurant which was much of a surprise to the handsome dad too!

We took him to a small sushi bar," Beckham said. "He sat at the bar and I sat about five tables back." "By the way my daughter is four years old and when she gets to that age I will be sat closer than that," he clarified.
