David
Oyelowo
is
the
new
Bond
who
would
narrate
the
audiobook!
David
has
become
the
first
black
actor
to
play
James
Bond
in
the
audiobook,
'Trigger
Mortis'.
Written
by
Anthony
Horowitz
and
commissioned
by
the
Ian
Fleming
estate,
the
movie
will
not
show
David
Oyelowo
but
we
will
hear
his
voice
as
007.
However,
it
is
an
official
Bond
book
and
a
direct
invitation
from
the
estate
of
007's
creator,
Ian
Fleming
which
is
a
big
achievement!
Born
to
Nigerian
parent
in
Oxford,
the
Selma
actor
is
"very
honoured" and
said,
"I
am
officially
the
only
person
on
planet
Earth
who
can
legitimately
say:
‘I
am
the
new
James
Bond'
-
even
saying
that
name
is
the
cinematic
equivalent
of
doing
the
‘to
be
or
not
to
be'
speech.
I
was
asked
specifically
by
the
Fleming
estate,
which
is
really
special,"
reports
theguardian.
The
announcement
on
Thursday
comes
after
rumours
that
Idris
Elba
is
in
line
to
replace
existing
Bong,
Daniel
Craig
were
doing
the
rounds.
Speculations
that
Daniel
Craig's
role
of
playing
James
Bond
will
comes
to
an
end,
after
the
release
of
next
two
movies
from
the
franchise.
David
Oyelowo's
last
film
was
the
acclaimed
film,
'Selma'
where
he
played
the
role
of
Dr.
Martin
Luther
King
Jr.
Although
the
actor
was
snubbed
from
the
Oscars
2015
race
for
Best
Actor
after
lots
of
buzz,
his
acclaimed
performance
as
the
activist
got
a
lot
of
accolades.
We
can't
wait
to
see
Oyelowo
as
the
voice
of
Bond!
