So
we
have
the
final
list
of
the
Emmy
Awards
2015
winners.
With
a
lot
of
surprises
and
expected
wins,
the
2015
Emmys
was
nothing
less
that
a
thrilling
show.
HBO
dominated
the
night
with
big
wins
for
Game
of
Thrones.
The
fantasy
drama
series
might
have
aired
the
most
controversial
season
this
year,
but
managed
to
bag
12
wins
making
a
record,
the
most
for
a
show
ever
in
a
single
year.
Game
of
Thrones
surpassed
the
record
by
netting
eight
wins
at
the
Creative
Arts
Emmys
last
week,
and
now
adding
four
more
statuettes
to
the
list
at
the
main
event,
totalling
to
12
wins
this
year!
The
HBO
series
also
won
in
both
directing
and
writing
categories
for
drama
series,
with
David
Nutter
for
directing
and
David
Benioff
and

Man
Men's
Jon
Hamm
finally
swept
away
Best
Actor
after
8
years,
while
Viola
Davis
from
'How
To
Get
Away
With
Murder' became
the
first
black
woman
to
win
the
Emmy
for
Best
Actress
in
a
Drama
Series.
Her
acceptance
speech
moved
the
audience.
In
my
mind
I
see
a
line
and
over
that
line,
I
see
green
fields
and
lovely
flowers
and
beautiful
white
women
with
their
arms
stretched
out
to
me
over
that
line,
but
I
can't
seem
to
get
there
no
how.
I
can't
seem
to
get
over
that
line.
That
was
Harriet
Tubman
in
the
1800s.
And
let
me
tell
you
something,
the
only
thing
that
separates
women
of
color
from
anyone
else,
is
opportunity.
You
cannot
win
an
Emmy
for
roles
that
are
simply
not
there.
So
here's
to
all
the
writers,
the
awesome
people
-Ben
Sherwood,
Paul
Lee,
Peter
Nowalk,
Shonda
Rhimes,
people
who
have
redefined
what
it
means
to
be
beautiful,
to
be
sexy,
to
be
a
leading
women,
to
be
black.
And
to
the
to
the
Taraji
P.
Hensons,
the
Kerry
Washingtons,
the
Halle
Berrys,
the
Nicole
Beharie,
the
Meagan
Goods,
to
Gabrielle
Union,
thank
you
for
taking
us
over
that
line.

confidante
Jennifer
Finney
Boylan
and
dedicating
his
award
to
the
transgender

he
said,
"I
had
a
teacher
who
used
to
say
that
when
you
act
you
have
to
act
like
your
life
depends
upon
it
and
now
I
have
been
given
the
opportunity
to
act
because
people's
lives
depend
upon
it,"
Tambor
said
as
he
accepted
his
award.
"Not
to
repeat
myself,
but
to
specifically
repeat
myself,
I'd
like
to
dedicate
this
performance
and
this

to
the
transgender

...
Thank
you
