Fifty Shades of Grey which is an adaptation from bestselling novel by British author, E.L. James, is an erotic film which is based on a kinky BDSM themed romance.
The erotica stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, a billionaire young businessman who has a fetish for the singular romance, bondage as Dominant, and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, is a naive student who falls in love with Christian and how she explores the world of BDSM as an unofficial Submissive.
The India release date for Fifty Shades of Grey was supposed to be on February 20th, but the movie has been delayed further due to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) issues.
While Indian audience await to watch the movie adaptation of the book, its releasing in Korea on February 26, various Middle East markets on March 5, and in Egypt on March 11. The India release date of Fifty Shades of Grey is still unknown due to the explicit scenes, nudity and sexual behaviour which is being considered by the CBFC.
The erotic movie has been banned in Malaysia, UAE, Kenya and Indonesia due to the bold scenes and sexual behaviour which appears abusive to many.
Meanwhile, Fifty Shades of Grey is ruling box office as the decade's most erotic movie released in the US, UK, Germany, France, Brazil, Italy, Russia, Spain, Australia, Mexico, Poland and Argentina.
In UK, the erotic movie released with an 18 certificate which means kids under 18 can't watch the movie. However, France rated the movie, 12 where children as young as 12 can watch the movie as the French National Film Board (CNC) found the movie less erotic and scenes were not as intimate and bold as hyped according to them.
