Jurassic World To Leave 'Furious 7' & 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Behind At Box Office?

Fans are counting days for the release of the much awaited film, Jurassic World. After 22 years, the fourth installment from Steven Spielberg's classic, Jurassic Park is releasing and fans worldwide of different age are gearing up to watch the movie which is releasing this Friday.

While fans are waiting to watch the film, box office gurus are guessing that the movie is going to be big blockbuster of 2015 which will leave 2015's box office record makers, "Furious 7″ and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" behind.

Looking at the bookings, it looks like the latest chapter in the "Jurassic Park" franchise is outselling all major 2014 summer blockbusters "Transformers: Age of Extinction," "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past," reports Variety. Ticket sales for the latest Jurassic Park movie are super strong, according to Fandango and MovieTickets.com.

At MovieTickets.com, "Jurassic World" is topping ticket sales and accounting for 52% of all tickets sold over the past 24 hours! The dinosaur movie which is a reboot of the classic series is Universal Studios widest opening ever in 4,273 theaters.

Jurassic World starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson and Irrfan Khan is releasing in 66 international territories including Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Spain and the UK this week. It also will mark the widest-ever global day-and-date Imax release totaling more than 800 theaters worldwide (440 abroad), reports Deadline.

The action-thriller is expected to debut to $115 million and could hatch $400 million worldwide at the box office. Domestic B.O. opening projections for Jurassic World are well over $100M, reports Deadline.
