Kanye
West
and
Beck's
Grammy
diss
has
gathered
more
attention
now.
The
rapper
who
crashed
Beck's
Grammy
acceptance
speech
while
he
went
to
receive
Best
Album
of
the
Year
award,
says
he
was
not
joking
and
the
award
should
have
gone
to
Beyonce.
Kanye's
'Kanye'
stunt
at
the
Grammy
Awards
2015,
reminiscent
of
his
VMA
moment
with
Taylor
Swift
in
2009,
was
thought
to
be
a
joke
initially
but
the
rapper
said
he
was
serious
as
Beyonce
not
Beck
should
have
won
the
trophy.
"Beck
knows
that
Beyonce
should
have
won
-
you
know
that," West
said.
Asked
if
he'd
ever
heard
of
Beck
before
the
Grammy
awards
show,
he
said,
"Come
on,
man,
I
love
Beck.
But
he
ain't
have
Album
of
the
Year."
West
nearly
crashed
Beck's
acceptance
speech
after
his
'Morning
Phase' won
the
coveted
Album
of
the
Year
Award
over
other
albums
by
Beyonce,
Sam
Smith,
Ed
Sheeran
and
Pharrell
Williams.
Singer
Shirley
Manson
has
blasted
West
for
his
stunt
and
said
"You
Make
Yourself
Look
Small
and
Petty
and
Spoilt".
Beck
on
the
other
side
was
surprised
over
his
win
and
when
asked
about
Kanye's
crashing
the
stage
stint,
humbly
replied
Showing
respect
for
the
21
time
Grammy
winner,
Kanye
West,
the
musician
told
US
Weekly,
"I
was
just
so
excited
he
was
coming
up.
He
deserves
to
be
on
stage
as
much
as
anybody.
How
many
great
records
has
he
put
out
in
the
last
five
years
right?"
When
asked
whether
Beyonce
should
have
won,
Beck
said,
"Absolutely.
I
thought
she
was
going
to
win.
Come
on
she's
Beyonce!" Well
we
too
could
see
his
surprised
face
when
his
name
was
announced.
