After working back-to-back for two years, actress Kristen Stewart is ready to step away from Hollywood to pursue her other hobbies and relax. During an appearance on 'Live! With Kelly and Michael,' the 24-year-old actress who was promoting her new film Still Alice, said after wrapping up filming, she has just been relaxing and enjoying pursuing her other hobbies.
The 'Twilight' star admitted to the host's that after working "for a solid two years" she wants to stay out of the public for a while. "I need to breathe. I've done like six paintings I'm just enjoying something different," she added.
Kristen Stewart was quick to clarify that it does not mean she plans to become an artist full time. "You can say one thing about a detail of your life and it expands like wildfire. Like, 'Oh, so you're a painter now!' I'm like, 'Not at all, I'm like in middle school art class in my garage, basically,'" she said.
Apart from painting, KStew revealed her another passion which is for cooking. Kristen revealed she became star struck recently after spotting chef Alton Brown. She said, "I like to cook too, name it I can make it, I can make like anything. I think I'm a good cook, I love food, I'm a total foodie."
The actress opened up about her new pet dog. "Her name is Coal and she's literally the light of my life. She's just a mutt I found her at a Frisbee golf course. I'm up to three [dogs] now."
'Still Alice' is directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland and based on Lisa Genova's 2007 bestselling novel of the same name. Kristen Stewart plays the on-screen daughter of Oscar nominated Best Actress, Julianne Moore.
