MTV VMAs 2015: Miley Cyrus Announces Something Major

Miley Cyrus knows how to play her way and make some announcement with fun! The 22-year-old singer shared the exciting news that she is hosting this year's MTV VMAs in a funny way which left us laughing.

Miley Cyrus took to social media to make the announcement and shared a pic with a note. The note referenced to her bold performance with Robin Thicke 2 years ago which was criticised by viewers for being sleazy and inappropriate for kids.

The singer too to Twitter to post a split photo of herself, with one photo showing her disguised in a green alien costume with a sandwich board that read, "MTV won't let me perform," and another pic of her revealing her face with the caption, "So I'm hosting this year's VMAs!"

With no doubt she referred to the performance with Robin Thicke which was not only infamous but unforgettable as well. The 'adult only' performance got backlash by parenting pressure group in US who complained against Miley's performance at the VMAs.

The Parents Television Council (PTC) has issued a complaint against Miley Cyrus where she has done a dirty dance wearing a nude bikini with singer Robin Thicke. The PTC then said that Miley's performance was 'unacceptable'.

"F--k yeah VMAs!!!!! #VMAs on @MTV Aug 30 at 9pm," she wrote.

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards will air on Sunday, August 30th and we just can't wait to see how Miley with her wit and humour hosts the show.
