Patricia Arquette's Birthday: Interesting Facts About Her
Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette is celebrating her 47th birthday today (April 8th, 2015). The actress who got worldwide recognition for her performance in Boyhood earned her the first Oscar nomination and win this year.
Patricia Arquette who won the Best Supporting Actress for Boyhood ruled 2015's award season with Academy Award, BAFTA Award, Critics' Choice Award, Golden Globe Award, Independent Spirit Award, and SAG Award win.
Apart from playing in movies, Patricia also acted in TV shows. She played real life psychic Allison DuBois in the supernatural drama series Medium for seven seasons (2005-11) for which she received three Golden Globe nominations and two Emmy Award nominations, winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama in 2005.
Recently, Random House publisher announced that she is going to pen a memoir about her "unconventional family," single parenthood and life in Hollywood.

Acting Is In Her Blood
Patricia is the fourth generation actor in her family. Her great-grandparents were vaudeville performers, her grandfather, Cliff Arquette, played Charley Weaver on the Jack Paar Show, and her late father, Lewis Arquette, played J.D. Pickett on The Waltons. Her siblings, Rosanna, Alexis, Richmond, and David, are actors as well.
Rise
After playing a teen mom and a boarding school student on TV, Patricia made her film debut in Chuck Russell's A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors in 1987. She was supposed to star in the sequel, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master but Patricia got pregnant with her first child, Enzo Rossi.
Believes In Character Acting
As a child, her parents offered to get her braces to bring her teeth in shape. However, Patricia refused telling them she wanted to have flaws because it would help her with character acting.
A Single Mother
Patricia is a single mother in real life too! She has two kids, Enzo and Harlow. The actress became a mother when she was just 20-year-old.
Her Love Life
Patricia has a love child with musician Paul Rossi. Thy have a son named Enzo Rossi who was born in 1989. In April 1995, Arquette married Nicolas Cage but the couple separated after nine months and then filed for divorce. Patricia then started dating Thomas Jane and the couple got engaged in 2002. They have a daughter, Harlow Olivia Calliope Jane born in 2003. The couple got married in 2006 but trouble came in paradise in 2009, and the couple filed for divorce in 2010 citing 'irreconcilable differences.'

Patricia has been working in the industry since 1987, but got her first Oscar nod in 2015 for her performance in Boyhood. She even won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the same.

Although she won an Oscar, nothing can stop Patricia to come on TV. She is playing the leading role of Special Agent Avery Ryan in the CSI spinoff series CSI: Cyber.
Memoir
Patricia is set to release her memoir for Random House. "Over the years, the public has come to know aspects of me through my roles in film and television," Arquette said in a release. "Writing a memoir will be a new and intimate artistic journey for me, and I hope to bring to it the same honesty I have always sought to bring to my work as an actor."
