Prince George's Official Photo Released To Celebrate His 2nd Birthday

Prince George is celebrating his 2nd birthday today! To mark the special day, an official picture of Prince George was released on social media.

The picture, taken by fashion photographer Mario Testino, shows the toddler smiling in the arms of his father, Prince William.

Prince George will celebrate the birthday today with a private party tea at his new Norfolk home organised by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The official picture which was released to mark the birthday of the royal toddler was taken after Princess Charlotte's christening on 5 July.

It was clicked in the gardens at Sandringham House, on the Queen's Norfolk estate, and was one of the shots from the series of official photographs taken by Testino following the Princess Charlotte's christening.

A Kensington Palace spokeswoman said, "This photograph captures a very happy moment on what was a special day for the duke and duchess and their family.

"They are very pleased to share this picture as they celebrate Prince George's second birthday."

This year had been very happening for the Kate Middleton's son especially after the arrival of his little sister, Charlotte on May 2nd. Moreover, Prince George also moved permanently to Anmer Hall after his daddy, Prince William started a new job as an East Anglian Air Ambulance helicopter pilot.
