The Oscar 2015 Best Actor winner, Eddie Redmayne is taking his roles very seriously! After portraying Stephen Hawking in "The Theory of Everything", Eddie Redmayne is now observing the minutiae of feminine physicality by playing a transgender pioneer in a new drama!

The first photo from his upcoming movie "The Danish Girl" arrived online on February 26. In the picture, we see Eddie Redmayne as a transgender sporting a green dress and red lipstick.

Directed by Tom Hooper, The Danish Girl shows Eddie Redmayne, the 33-year-old British actor play Danish-born artist Einar Wegener who is known as one of the first people who underwent sex reassignment surgery.

The movie which set in the 1920s, is a love story about how Wegener, a painter, was persuaded by his wife Gerda Waud - who was also an artist to pose for her in women's clothes after one of her models failed to show. In time, he became Lili and started on the transformation into a woman for paintings.

Eddie Redmayne's transformation is perfect if we look at the pic, and movement director Alexandra Reynolds, who also helped him choreograph his movements as Hawking is helping him get into this role as well.

The painter was later known as Lili Elbe. The movie, which also stars Alicia Vikander and Amber Heard, is set for release later this year.
