There are some celebrity couples in Hollywood who have had the shortest marriages which did not last more than a week or in a few cases, 55 hours!
Yes, you read it right. Britney Spears got hitched to Jason Alexander in Vegas and the wedding lasted for 55 hours. When Kim Kardashian got married to Kris Humphries, it was clear that the big fat wedding will last. However, the couple split after 72 days and the trouble in their marriage was clearly visible in KUWTK spin-off, 'Kourtney & Kim Take New York'.

Britney Spears and Jason Alexander – 55 Hours
The pop star married her childhood friend in Vegas but the wedding lasted for 55 hours only. Jason told ABC News that Britney asked him to go to Vegas to get married and he accepted. However after coming back, her mother and managers disapproved because they didn't have a prenup. The wedding was quickly annulled.
Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock – 4 Months
An unhappy Thanksgiving affected their wedding followed by a divorce. The couple were married for just 4 months. Kid Rock told Howard Stern, he knew it was time to end the marriage when it started to affect his son.
Jennifer Esposito and Bradley Cooper – 4 Months
The star couple looked perfect but the wedding ended after 4 months. In a memoir, the actress called Bradley "cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator."
Nicholas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley – 3 Months
The couple got married before getting to know each other properly. Hasty decision lead to a failed marriage. Lisa told ABC News, "I fell into this whole, ‘You poor, sweet, misunderstood man, I'm going to save you.' ... I fell in love with him."
Ali Landry and Mario Lopez – 2 Weeks
After dating for 6 years, the couple took their relationship to the next level and got married. However, things did not work out and the marriage ended within a month. In his memoir later, Mario revealed of cheating on Ali at his bachelor's party and also admitted he was not really in love.
Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush – 5 Months
Chad married One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush in 2005 but after 5 months of marriage, Bush filed for divorce as Chad reportedly hooked up with his House of Wax co-star, Paris Hilton.
Cher and Greg Allman – 9 Days
The stars got married after dating for 6 months however, could not stay together for even two weeks! Greg told Rolling Stone, "Well, I cared about one side of her. Couldn't stand the General Patton side. But I did love the helpless little girl side of her."
Renee Zellweger and Kenny Chesney – 4 Months
Renée Zellweger and country singer Kenny Chesney annulled their marriage after 4 months with the actress citing fraud as the reason. The couple released a statement saying that there was a miscommunication of the objective of their marriage.

4 months before celebrating 1st wedding anniversary, Moss and Fred filed for divorce. She called her wedding to Fred an "extremely traumatic and awful and terrible,"in an interview with New York magazine.

Trouble in paradise was visible in Kourtney and Kim Take New York where it was shown that Kris wanted to move to Minnesota, and Kim wanted to stick with her career in California.
