Vidhu Vinod Chopra's maiden Hollywood venture 'Broken Horses' which has been gathering a lot of Bollywood and Hollywood attention is set to release in India.
Broken Horses which got good attention and compliments from Hollywood directors like James Cameron and Alfonso Cuaron, who have lavished praise on Chopra, calling 'Broken Horses' an "artistic triumph driven by love", will release in India on April 1st.
The American mystery film which is directed by Bollywood director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra is a tale of two brothers and based on the drug war in the turbulent American-Mexican border.
Legendary director James Cameron said, "Broken Horses is an artistic triumph. Beautifully written, acted and imaged. This film wraps slowly around you like a king snake and squeezes."
Alfonso Cuaron who won Academy Award for Best Director (Gravity) in 2013 said, "Broken Horses overwhelmed me. The greatness of Vidhu Vinod Chopra's films comes from the fact that all his characters are driven by love."
The upcoming movie stars María Valverde, Thomas Jane, Anton Yelchin, Vincent D'Onofrio and Sean Patrick Flanery.
"I don't make too many films because it takes time. 'Broken Horses' took me five years.. haven't thought of making it in Hindi," Vidhu Vinod Chopra said in an interview.
The director is going to screen his Hollywood flick for the Bollywood celebrities as well.
