When an elderly couple failed to identify Leonardo DiCaprio

The Revenant famed star Leonardo DiCaprio has selflessly helped an old couple with the directions, who appeared all clueless in the mid-way to the city. But the most interesting part was that the couple were totally unaware about DiCaprio's celebrity status.

The Hollywood superstar who had bagged the Oscar this year, was taking a stroll with his dog adjacent to the Hudson River way, when he was suddenly approached by a worried elderly couple. They seemed to need help regarding directions for heading towards the New York City.

"He was walking along with a friend and his dog, just strolling and right before sunset and an old couple was looking around and he walked up to them. It looked like they needed help." A source said.

"Then he pulled out his phone and showed them something on his phone. Then he reached out and pointed them in the direction to go and they went on their way," added the source.

The actor was seen again on his best to help people around, but the elderly couple had no clue at all, about his superstar status and they just approached him as a commoner and then went their way.

"People had been asking him for selfies but this couple didn't seem to know who he was," the source further explained.
