In a recent talk while promoting his upcoming movie Moana, Dwayne Johnson said that he would not rule out the possibility completely. If people wants him, he will surely love to run for the US Presidential Election 2020.

"I wouldn't rule it out, it would be a great opportunity to help people, so it's possible. This past election shows that anything can happen," said Johnson.

The actor said that he is extremely patriotic at heart and also ready to take up the responsibility of a leader.

"I love my country, I'm extremely patriotic and I also feel, especially now, leadership is so important, great leadership is so important, respected leadership is so important." He added.

He continued "If I felt like I could be an effective leader for us, and surround myself with really high-quality leaders, then sure, I would."

However, Johnson is also concerned about the people of America. He said it is up to them to decide if they want him as President or not. "As time goes on, I will take the temperature of the American people,"

"If it is a very real, overwhelming, positive, strong, 'We want you to run for president', and I felt that I can step up to the place and become a tremendous leader for our country, and make a real difference and make change, I would do it," concluded Johnson.
