Eddie Murphy Reveals He Has Never Taken Drugs

Renowned actor and comedian, Eddie Murphy reveals that he had been offered drugs by many of his friends on a number of occasions in the past, but now he thanks God that he has always refused them and never consumed drugs in his life.

"I don't drink. I don't have like this moral thing about it, I just don't do it and I didn't get high." Said Murphy.

"(One night out) Belushi and Robin Williams offered me some cocaine and I didn't take it. Then, years later, I was like, Wow, that's a trip. (If I'd accepted it) The Eddie Murphy story would have been totally different," he added.

Murphy also remembered his old times when he actually could involve himself in wrong things; however, he heaved a sigh of relief that he held himself back and restrained from doing any wrong things at that phase of his life.

"There are a bunch of things like that that I look back on and be like, 'Wow.' And that just reaffirms my faith. I know that God is real. There's been a bunch of times when I could have wound up crashing and burning," he said.
