Hugh Jackman! A super hero in real life too!

The 47-year-old Wolverine actor was in Australia to promote his new movie Eddie The Eagle. On Saturday, the Star took a break from his work schedule to Hang out by the Bondi beach with his family.

The beach was fun, but not for long! The ocean's currents changed creating a riptide which pulled the actor's kids. Hugh rushed to the water and pulled his 15-year old son Oscar and 10-year old daughter Ava out of the troubled waters.

Reports said, the actor was rescuing his kids and other beach goers as well. He waved his hands to signal other swimmers to reach the shore, life guards were quick to respond and they saved nearly 43 people from the riptide.

Hugh's rep said to the news that both Hugh Jackman and his kids are 100% fine and it sounds more dramatic that it actually was.
