Actor Irrfan Khan has made a huge name for himself not only in India but abroad as well. After featuring in Hollywood hits like Spiderman, Jurassic World and others, the actor is now all set to hit the silver screen with his latest, opposite the iconic Tom Hanks, in the movie titled Inferno.
Not just that, according to the reports, it is learned that producers and movie bosses have decided to release the film in India ahead of the grand global opening, just to encash in on the popularity of the actor.
"Irrfan's fan following in the country is prompted the film's producers to take this call. They realised that there is a lot of curiosity among fans regarding Tom and Irrfan's pairing." Confirmed a source.
"Hence, to cash in on the actor's popularity on his home turf, the producers decided to promote this film in India." The source added.
Irrfan, on the other hand, stays modest and praises the iconic actor Tom Hanks. He said, he is very happy to share the screen with one of the iconic figures in Hollywood and added it had been a great learning experience for him, working with Tom.
"It was a great experience working with Tom and the entire team. I am glad that it is releasing in my home country earlier than its global release." Said Irrfan.
