Maisie Williams Is Grateful To Her Mother For Letting Her Chase Her Dreams

Maisie Williams, the Game of Thrones actor, who has been nominated for the Emmy, in the category of Best Actress in Supporting Role, for the character Arya Stark , says, she is thankful to her mother for letting her chase and fulfil her dreams in making a career in acting.

"She gave me the gift and gave me her blessing to do what I want with my life. To be like, 'Okay ... you're going to do this and we're going to prove them all wrong' rather than, you know, making me stay in school."

"And I'm still educated, I've still got everything I need in life, I thank her every single day," she said.

When the Emmy nominated actressfound out about her selection in the category, the first thing she did was chatting with her mother about her work and success.

"I found out in the best way. I was away from her last week, and I speak to her every day - so I FaceTimed her ... and a little notification from Twitter came up - a tweet from 'Game of Thrones'," she added.

She also added that, when she came to know about her selection for the Emmy, she was speechless for 30 seconds, while her mother was screaming and shouting with joy.
