In
a
bid
to
bring
diversity
and
move
away
from
the
cliched
superhero
movies
being
made
in
recent
times,
the
film-makers
and
the
franchise,
have
decided
to
bring
the
gender
melange
in
the
superhero
characters.
So
much
so
that,
they
are
replacing
Tony
Stark
with
a
teenage
girl
as
the
next
Iron
Man.
So
going
by
the
reports,
Tony
Stark
won't
be
guarding
the
city
and
fighting
evil
in
his
red
iron
suit
anymore.
He
will
rather
be
replaced
by
a
15year-old
girl
named
as
Riri
Williams.
Riri
is
expected
to
be
even
more
than
her
predecessor
Tony
Stark.
Brian
Michael
Bendis,
the
Iron
Man
writer
said,
"And
this
story
of
this
brilliant,
young
woman
whose
life
was
marred
by
tragedy
that
could
have
easily
ended
her
life,
just
random
street
violence,
and
went
off
to
college
was
very
inspiring
to
me."
"I
thought
that
was
the
most
modern
version
of
a
superhero
or
superheroine
story
I
had
ever
heard." He
added.
Brian
also
hinted
on
more
gender
diversities
to
be
seen
in
the
upcoming
superhero
movies
as
Spiderman
and
even
the
mighty
Thor
will
be
replaced
by
female
leads.
Now
it
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
fans
would
react
to
these
ideas
from
the
Marvel
Production
house.
