After
the
unfortunate
death
of
Paul
Walker
in
a
road
accident,
a
tribute
was
offered
in
his
name
in
Fast
and
Furious
7,
showing
the
actor
taking
a
different
road
at
the
end
of
the
film.
It
was
well-understood
that
the
scene
was
a
deliberate
attempt
to
say
a
final
goodbye
to
the
actor
as
well
as
his
character,
in
the
movie
as
'Brian
O'Conner'.
But
now
it
seems
that
the
things
have
changed
and
the
franchise
bosses
want
to
bring
back
the
character
'Brian
O'Conner'
at
some
point
in
the
future
movies.
Paul's
brothers
Cody
and
Caleb
Walker,
who
had
helped
as
stand-ins
during
the
shooting
of
Furious
7
after
Paul
died,
confirmed
that
there
will
be
a
possible
return
of
the
character
'Brian
O'Conner'
as
the
franchise
wants
it.
"I
had
a
phone
call
with
Vin
Diesel
for
about
an
hour
and
we
really
discussed
this
a
while
back.
He
wanted
our
blessing," said
Caleb.
Caleb
also
added
that
Diesel,
had
asked
the
brothers
"if
and
when
it
would
be
acceptable
to
maybe
bring
Paul's
character
back...
to
really
kind
of
let
his
fans
know
he's
still
out
there."
"Universal
wants
to
make
sure
to
be
respectful
of
Paul
and
his
image
too,
and
his
family,"
added
Cody.
However,
in
the
end,
Cody
termed
this
as
"a
terrible
idea"
and
said
"I
am
very
against
it."
