Spider-Man Homecoming Trailer Is Out, But What Is Iron Man Doing Here?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has unleashed their favourite wall-crawler in the recent trailer for its upcoming Spidy movie titled Spider-Man: Homecoming. But wait... what is Iron Man a.k.a Tony Stark doing here?

Is he not meant to be just a cameo in this upcoming Spider-man film? The answer will be 'no' of course. Spider-Man: Homecoming has Tony Stark in it, and possibly a lot of Tony Stark. Though the stylish, billionaire, iron-suited superhero will play the role of a mentor here.

It is a different thing altogether, that no mother would like to have a mentor like Tony Stark for her kid. But there you get the best part in terms of entertainment.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is certainly going to portray a different Spider-Man and Marvel has just put it all in the first full trailer. Here Peter Parker is in his adolescence, trying to strike a balance between his physics class and saving the world.

Even Tom Holland says Spider-Man is "not a finished article." It is "more a character piece about this kid who's struggling to talk to girls and also struggling to save the city."

He is even struggling to talk to girls in his class, and there comes Tony Stark. You thought Tony Stark would be teaching him fighting skills instead? That will come later.
