Did you all think that Marvel would let Spider-Man get away with just one film after bringing him down for Homecoming? Well, folks if you consider Spider-Man: Homecoming as a new beginning to the Spider-Man story, you are bound to get more sequels coming one after another.
And this, has been confirmed by none other than the Spider-Man Actor Tom Holland, himself. He stated that the follow-up to Spider-Man: Homecoming is already in the process.
The 20-year-old Spider-Man actor revealed that he is in talks with the franchise at the moment about his next appearance in the solo Spider-Man movie.
"My next project, I can't tell you about, but we've just finished 'Spider-Man'. And we're talking about the second one and who the villain is going to be and where we're going," said Holland.
In the meanwhile, Marvel and Sony are in talks about a new super villain to be introduced in the proposed sequel. It is believed that the villain will be hinted at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming and the plot would continue from there.
Spider-Man: Homecoming, is all set to release on 7th July, 2017. The movie also features Robert Downey Jr, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya Coleman, Michael Keaton, and Donald Glover.
