The production had been initially planned to roll on May 9 , however, that had to be delayed and also the release date for the film, to provide the lead O'Brien with some more time to recover. Fox had therefore, moved the movie release date from 17th February 2017 to 12th January 2018.

After the incident. all the crew members had to go their separate ways but now the schedules were fixed to carry forward the remaining work, most probably in a fresh location.

Wes Ball is all set to resume his work of directing the movie The Maze Runner: The Death Cure from a script written by T.S. Nowlin, adapted from the famous sci-fi series by James Dashner.
