List of Award Winners In iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016
This year has been wonderful with so many good songs out there! The nominations were so competitive that it was hard to decide who would win the trophy! Well, the wait is finally over. iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016 has officially concluded, and the winners are nothing but a spectacular choice by the jury!
Here is the list of the winners from each category amidst the tough nominations. The list is as follows:
Song of the Year: "Hello" by Adele won the award amidst other songs like "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift, "Can't feel my face" by The Weeknd, "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk the Moon and "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars.

Female Artist of the Year: Taylor Swift, in which her other contenders were Adele, Carrie Underwood, Meghan Trainor and one from her very own girl squad, Selena Gomez.
Male Artist of the Year: Justin Bieber won the award after having Ed Sheeran, Luke Bryan, Sam Smith and The Weeknd on the run for the money.
Best New Artist: Fetty Wap won the best debutant award while having fellow contenders like Hozier, Sam Hunt, Shawn Mendes and Tove Lo.
Best Duo/Group of the Year: Marron 5 grabbed the award surpassing Fall Out Boy, One Direction, Walk the Moon and Zac Brown Band.
Album of the Year: Taylor Swifts' 1989 was a home-run compared to 25 by Adele, Beauty Behind the Madness by The Weeknd, In the Lonely Hour by Sam Smith and X by Ed Sheeran.
Best Tour: Taylor Swift is on roll again! She won the award for the best Tour beating Foo Fighters, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan and U2 by a long shot!

Alternative Rock Artist of the Year: Twenty One Pilots won in this category, after rising above AWOLNATION, Foo Fighters, Muse and X-Ambassadors.
Alternative Rock Song of the Year: Twenty One Pilots for the win! The song that won the second award for the evening to Twenty One Pilots is "Stressed out". Other songs in the nominations included "Cigarette Daydreams" by Cage The Elephant, "Ex's & Oh's" by Elle King, "Renegades" by X Ambassadors and "Shut Up and Dance" by Walk the Moon.
Rock Artist of the Year: Foo Fighters won this one clear, in which others in the nominations were Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, and the Three Days Grace.
Rock Song of the Year: " Heavy Is the Head" by Zac Brown Band featuring Chris Cornell won the award beating "Cut the Cord" by Shinedown, "Failure" by Breaking Benjamin, "Footsteps" by Pop Evil and "I Am Machine" by Three Days Grace.
Country Song of the Year: "Buy Me a Boat" by Chris Janson won the award. The other worthy enough songs were, "Homegrown" by Zac Brown Band, "I See You" by Luke Bryan, "Lose My Mind" by Brett Eldredge and "Take Your Time" by Sam Hunt.
Country Artist of the Year: Luke Bryan won the award having competed against Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett.
Dance Song of the Year: "Where Are Ü Now" bySkrillex & Diplo with Justin Bieber won the award with others amongst the competition such as "Hey Mama" by David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack, "Lean On" by Major Lazer & DJ Snake featuring MØ, "Waves" by Mr. Probz and finally "You Know You Like It" by DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge.
Dance Artist of the Year: Calvin Harris won the award by a landslide beating David Guetta, Major Lazer, Skriller 7 Diplo and Zedd.
Hip Hop Song of the Year: "Hotline Bling" by Drake won this award, other nominations were "Blessings" by Big Sean featuring Drake & Kanye West, Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" by Rich Homie Quan, "Trap Queen" by Fetty Wap and "Truffle Butter" by Nicki Minaj featuring Drake & Lil Wayne.
Hip Hop Artist of the Year: Drake won the award surpassing Big Sean, Fetty Wap, Future and J.Cole.
R&B Song of the Year: "Earned It" by The Weeknd won the award by beating "Bitch Better Have My Money" by Rihanna, "Planes" by Jeremih featuring J. Cole, "Post To Be" by Omarion featuring Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko and "The Hills" by The Weeknd.
R&B Artist of the Year: Chris Brown won this award after beating Beyonce, The Weeknd, Trey songz, and Usher.
Latin Song of the Year: "El Perdón" by Nicky Jam & Enrique Iglesias won the award while the other nominations included "Ay Vamos" by J. Balvin, "Hilito" by Romeo Santos, "La Gozadera" by Gente De Zona featuring Marc Anthony and "Mi Verdad" by Maná featuring Shakira.
Latin Artist of the Year: Pitbull races over to finish line and wins the trophy after having Enrique Iglesias, J Balvin, Nicky Jam and Prince Royce on the race.
Regional Mexican Song of the Year: "Levantando Polvadera" by Voz de Mando was the winner in this category. Other nominations included "Aunque Ahora Estés Con Él" by Calibre 50, "Eres Una Niña" by Gerardo Ortiz, "Mi Vicio Más Grande" by Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga and "Te Metiste" by Ariel Camacho by Los Plebes del Rancho.
Regional Mexican Artist of the Year: Banda Los Recoditos won the award after having to compete against Calibre 50, Gerardo Ortiz, Julión Álvarez by Su Norteño Banda and Voz De Mando.
Best Lyrics: "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten won the trophy while other nominations that were in the contest included "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett, "Hello" by Adele, "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran and "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth.
Best Collaboration: "Uptown Funk" by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars won after defeating "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar, "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" by Meghan Trainor featuring John Legend, "See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth and "Where Are Ü Now" by Skrillex & Diplo with Justin Bieber.
