2009
horror
comedy
movie
Zombieland,
had
delivered
a
rare
blend
of
horror
and
comedy,
which
was
quite
captivating
for
the
audiences.
Now
after
almost
seven
years,
the
makers
are
planning
to
come
up
with
its
sequel
to
carry
the
success
further.
Rhett
Reese
and
Paul
Wernick
have
confirmed
the
news
that
they
are
presently
working
on
the
script
and
screenplay
for
the
sequel.
"That
is
breaking
news
that
we're
on
'Zombieland
2'
right
now," Reese
and
Wernick
said.
They
also
added
that
they
probably
will
have
a
talk
about
the
matter
with
actor
Woody
Harrelson.
"We're
sitting
with
Woody
tomorrow
and
are
going
to
sort
of
walk
him
through
some
of
the
stuff
we
want
to
do.
All
the
cast
is
pretty
excited." They
said.
It
is
still
not
clear
whether
the
former
cast
members
including
Jesse
Eisenberg,
Emma
Stone
and
Abigail
Breslin
will
be
brought
back
to
the
sequel.
Reese
and
Wernick
haven't
provided
any
affirmative
on
that.
Meanwhile,
Wernick
and
Reese,
the
writers
who
have
just
completed
writing
the
scripts
and
screenplay
for
another
popular
upcoming
sequel
Deadpool
2,
also
revealed
that
working
with
Bill
Murray
was
pleasing.
They
elaborated
that
before
Murray
grabbed
the
role,
many
legendary
actors
like
Sylvester
Stallone,
Mark
Hamill
wanted
to
take
the
spot.
But
they
found
Bill
Murray
to
be
more
suitable
for
the
character.
