Indian
Origin,
Dev
Patel,
who
is
currently
receiving
applauds
from
all
rounds
for
his
most
appreciated
and
also
critically-acclaimed
movie
Lion,
is
at
present
in
India
for
the
shooting
of
his
next
upcoming
film
named
as
Hotel
Mumbai.
The
film
directed
by
Anthony
Maras,
renowned
Australian
director,
is
all
about
the
26/11
terror
attacks
at
the
'Taj
Mahal
Palace
&
Tower
Hotel'
in
Mumbai.
According
to
the
source
this
film
will
try
to
throw
light
on
the
insights
of
the
unfortunate
terror
attack
at
the
metropolis
in
the
west
coast.
"He
is
busy
shooting
at
the
moment.
But
he
will
be
heading
back
to
Los
Angeles
on
January
23
for
Oscar
nominations," a
source
close
to
the
actor
said
in
a
statement.
During
an
interview,
talking
about
the
plot
and
backdrop
of
the
movie
Hotel
Mumbai
Dev
Said,
he
tried
to
go
deep
down
understanding
the
plights
of
the
hotel
staffs
during
that
terror
strike.
"When
I
decided
to
do
the
story
on
Taj,
we
looked
past
the
colour
and
skin
of
the
characters...and
focused
on
how
some
of
the
staff
went
over
and
above
to
protect
their
guests
in
times
of
terror." Dev
Patel
stated.
However,
Dev
being
currently
in
India,
it
is
still
not
confirmed
though
if
he
will
get
involved
in
the
promotional
activities
for
his
upcoming
film
Lion
in
India.
The
film
has
been
scheduled
to
release
in
India
on
February
20,
2017.
