Prior to this only two movies had this distinction to be the most awarded movies at the Golden Globes - Midnight Express and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Both of them held six awards each.

But for La La Land, it was like a magic. Almost all the sections got awarded starting from the actors. The film itself won the award for the Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical).

Ryan Gosling won the Best Actor award for his role as a jazz pianist. Emma Stone grabbed the award for Best Actress for her role as an aspiring actress. Damien Chazelle pouched two awards as the Best Director and also for the Best Screenplay.

The young American composer and writer Justin Hurwitz also won the award in the Original Score Department.

And to conclude, 'City Of Stars' song from the movie also grabbed the award for Best Original Song.
