Kong: Skull Island Director Does Not Wish To Return For A Sequel

Despite the fact that Jordan Vogt-Robert's Kong: Skull Island, has grabbed positive reviews and performed admirably at the box office, the director is not much enthusiastic to weave a new storyline and return with a sequel.

The director tried to portray the giant beast into a new light; he chose to show Kong in his home rather than dragging him into a new city.

"I think I'm done with giant monsters for a little bit...I'm really proud of how weird this movie is and I'm really proud of how much people embraced that stuff and actually called out like how strange the movie is." Said Jordan Vogt-Robert.

"And I wanted it to have a voice and I'm so proud of what we did and how I think it is, like, a nontraditional blockbuster in 2017. And I'm so proud of what Legendary and Warner Bros and those guys allowed me to do and the collaboration that we had," added the director.

Jordan Vogt-Robert also said that he never preferred to show up a film with Kong vs. Godzilla as main ingredient. He said he wanted to portray the character of Kong in a different light altogether.

"But I definitely don't think I've got Kong vs. Godzilla in me. Never say never, but I'm so proud of the Kong we made and the vibe of him and the energy of him and the vibe of the creatures on that island and everything, but it would be tough for me right now." Stated Jordan Vogt-Robert.
