Elton John Health Update: At the age of 76, Elton John found himself hospitalized after a fall at his residence in Nice, France, on Sunday, August 27. The singer's spokesperson informed both BBC News on Monday, August 28, stating, "We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the South of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure. Following checkups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health."

The cause of the fall that led to the hospitalization of the British music legend was not disclosed by his representative. Spending his summer in France with his husband, David Furnish (60), and their children, Zachary (12) and Elijah (10), Elton John wrapped up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour with its final performance in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 8. The tour, which commenced in 2018, was extended for five years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
