The
Judge
is
a
movie
that
will
keep
you
hooked
to
the
screen.
The
drama
has
unexpectedly
come
from
a
director
David
Dobkin,
who
is
best
known
for
his
hit
comedy
movies
like
Wedding
Crashers
and
The
Change-Up.
The
Judge
also
shows
a
different
role
played
by
none
other
than
the
Marvel's
star,
Robert
Downey
Jr.
The
Judge
is
an
American
drama
which
evolves
around
the
court
and
its
sessions.
Movie
Review:
Robert
Downey
Jr.
plays
Hank
Palmer,
a
workaholic
and
famous
defense
attorney
in
Chicago
who
bends
the
laws
and
twists
the
case
in
such
a
way
that
it
helps
his
rich
and
guilty
clients
win
the
case.
In
one
of
the
scenes,
Hank
Palmer
says,
"Innocent
people
can't
afford
me."
A
brief
about
his
failing
married
life
is
also
shown
in
the
beginning.
One
day
Palm
gets
a
call
from
his
hometown
and
is
informed
about
the
death
of
his
mother.
Leaving
his
cases,
Palm
returns
to
his
hometown
(
Carlinville,
Indiana)
for
his
mother's
funeral
only
to
discover
that
his
estranged
father
Judge
Joseph
Palmer
(played
by
Robert
Duvall),
is
suspected
of
murder.
The
movie
is
emotional
when
Robert
enters
his
hometown
after
years.
It
also
shows
that
he
doesn't
have
a
good
bond
with
his
dad
who
is
a
Judge.
When
Palm
comes
to
know
about
the
hit-and-run
case
where
his
father
is
suspected,
he
takes
over
the
case
and
fights
for
his
father.
The
movie
is
a
brilliant
watch
where
secrets
are
revealed.
Downey
Jr.
and
Duvall
have
played
brilliantly
without
dominating
the
screen
all
alone.
Both
of
them
have
played
so
well
that
we
can't
pick
which
one
won
our
hearts!
