Brahma movie is a story which is told in two different time periods. The movie starts from 16th century and comes to present day generation. Director R Chandru himself has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for Brahma apart from directing it.
Story In Detail:
The movie tells the story of Bramha (Upendra) a notorious gangster who is a nightmare for politicians and the police. The Police appoint ACP Shinde to nab Bramha, but Brahma escapes to Malaysia on a secret mission where he meets the heroine. The heroine falls for Brahma, but Bramha rejects her love and comes back to India. The heroine follows him to India also. The story then takes a different turn from there.
Why does Brahma avoid the heroine? Why does Brahma go to Malaysia? What is his secret mission? Why did he become a dreaded gangster? What connection does Brahma have with the 16th century warrior? Will the Police be successful to nab Bramha for his anti social activities? Are the questions that are answered only in the film.
‘Brahma’ is a lavish movie which is being made in Kannada and Telugu simultaneously. The film has been shot in Bangalore, Mysore, Mandya, Sakleshpur, Malaysia and other places. The war scenes in the movie are likely to be shot in Rajasthan.
Upendra plays a dual role in the movie while Pranitha is the female lead. Saiyyaji Shinde, Jaijagadish, Nazar, Rahul Dev and others play prominent roles in the movie. Gurukiran is the music director while Shekhar Chandru is the cameraman. Manjunath Babu who had earlier financed R Chandru’s ‘Charminar’ is the producer of this movie.
