Top performances, high class music in Ekadhantha. Ekadhantha was much spoken about for its huge star cast as much for its contingent of technicians possessing a high level of technical expertise. The film is a high quality entertainer with lot of entertaining values and a bit of religious fervors to appeal to the female audience. Though the film starts off with some placid sequences in the beginning, it gathers tempo after the first fifteen minutes and then on it is just pretty good entertainment. Director Sachin has really delivered a comedy with lot of power punches and hilarious sequences. He has been ably supported by a team of refined and talented actors who also seem to enjoy every bit of the film.
And the religious elements in the final sequences of the film is also touching. Finally you would really feel like prostrating before the Lord Ganesh's idol of Ganapthipura. Dr. Vishnu has done one of his best roles in this film which will be remembered for long days to come. He is so hilarious and lively in the film that even his dance movements have some high energy quotient. Ramesh Arvind has a big role-start to the end- and he also enjoys a great deal while performing quite lively. Prema is an adequate foil to these two brilliant actors. Then of course there is a long list of supporting actors who have also given their best shot. Particularly artists like Umashri, Guru Kiran, Mandya Ramesh, Mimicry Dayanand and others who have performed with ease.
Guru Kiran is the other hero of the film and his music is the best part of the film. Though all the songs of the film have variety, it are the two songs with the fast beat "Bandal Badaayi Maadeva' and "Ee Sonta Nodu' which look to be the chart busters. The final religious song is also the highlight of the film. Ekadhantha is clearly the most enjoyable film that you would have seen in recent days. It is one film that you should not miss.
