Election movie based on a election commissioner Indira (Malashri) who takes on politicians and tries to hold peaceful elections in Karnataka. We have notorious netas like Narasimha (Pradeep Rawat), Ramaswamy (Suchendra Prasad), Gangadhara (Hanumanthegowda), Deviprasad (Devgill), and a honest politician Vishwanath (Lohithashwa).
All are in the fray. The commissioner removes roadblocks set up by the campaigners, cancels a political meeting held after 10pm, halts distribution of saris and TV sets, digs out rings hidden in laddus and cash in betel leaves. In short, she becomes Enemy No 1 of politicians.
The candidates try their best to unnerve her by indulging in violence. But in vain. Ultimately, honest politician Vishwanath wins. How? The only question that comes to mind here is whether an election commissioner can fight on the streets with politicians, arrest them and file FIRs.
