Googly Story

Googly movie is Romantic comedy . It tells the story of Sharath (Yash) who he is the most hated youth in his college. Sharath himself hates girls, until Swathi(Kriti Kharbanda) enters in his life. Both Sharath and Swathi come closer and become thick friends. They fall in love, but destiny has different plans for them.

Googly is a romantic comedy movie targeted mainly towards youths and Yash fans. The film has a good comedy scenes, lively story and good performances from the lead stars. But the drawback is, it appears like the movie caters to the specific age groups and people. Nonetheless, entertainment is guaranteed all through the movie.

It is only glitz and glamour in 'Googly'. Like how the 'Googly' ball difficult to face on the 22 yards cricket pitch the film also tests the patience at many places leaving the audience to take long yawn.

Pawan Wadeyar has not made a convincing screenplay and long drawn out love story and oscillation of mind we have seen in several films. Giving high standards to the characters the trivial issue also creeping in their mind cuts a sorry figure.

TIMES OF INDIA

The story does not move at times with the sequences testing your patience. Perhaps, Pavan could have thought of trimming the movie by at least 15 minutes. The story is focused on Sharath (Yash), an entrepreneur, who leads a jolly life without caring for anyone. He also has his reservations about falling in love and is careful about it.

Full marks to Yash for his lively performance as Sharath, especially in the sentimental sequences. Kriti Kharabanda has given life to her character. Music director Joshua Sridhar has some catchy tunes for you. Vaidi has done an excellent work with his camera.
