Debut director Prashanth Raj, who has worked as an assistant director for Hindi film Raaz, has finally delivered his first venture in Kannada. His movie Love Guru is a simple and super cool family entertainer. Although he has chosen the stale love as its subject, he has handled it in totally different and a brand new way, which makes the movie more interesting.
The highlights of the movie are Tarun and Radhika Pandit’s super cool performance, Prashanth’s interesting script and its presentation. Arasu fame Joshua Shridhar’s music is another hero of the movie. Naveen’s dialogues and Gnanamurthy’s camera work also contribute to some extent in making Love Guru interesting.
Love Guru is not a lesson of love. The lovers in the movie do not have father, mother, friend or anyone to support their love. Hero and heroine fail to understand each other. They are derailed while expressing their love. Love Guru gives a clear cut message to youths those who surrender themselves to suicide after they fail to get their love. It says there are many ways for a person, when he or she loses his or her way.
