Two decades ago, Amrutha Dhaare and America America fame director Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar had created a controversy after he wrote a short story 'Bhoomi Gundagide'. Now, he has tried to bring the same controversial story on the screen through the movie Olave Jeevana Lekkachara.

Movie Olave Jeevana Lekkachara is a sentimental family entertainer. The first half of the movie is little dragging and it bores the audience with its illogical linkup between the sequences. But the second half is thought provoking and it makes the audience tighten their seat belts.

Olave Jeevana Lekkachara deals with the concept of revolution. It calculates the relevancy of pseudo theories in real life and their adverse effect on the society. It is also a criticism on the dual nature of the revolutionaries. It gives a message to youths, who are carried away by these pseudo intellectuals.
