Premism

In recent years, movies with established heroes and heroines are turning out flops and movies with newcomers are becoming successful at the Box office. It seems that the reason behind this is that maximum number of audience are youths and they don’t want to see a 35-year-old actor playing a 20-year-old collage boy in love stories. It is not known whether Kannada film industry has understood this fact. But director Ratnaja is certainly understood it. That’s why he has made his latest movie Premism with newcomers Varun and Chetan Chandra and upcoming actress Amoolya in lead roles.

Premism is a fresh family film with romantic genre. Although triangular love story is not new to Kannada film industry, the treatment of the subject is totally innovative and different. The film has good storyline and crisp narration. Director Ratnaja has managed to include all the commercial elements like sentiment, love, comedy, fights and a few punch dialogues.

The movie is all about two boys fall in love with a girl, who teaches them a lesson on love. The first half deals with relationship between Nithin and Varun’s families and the development of their love with Amoolya. It moves faster with it’s fun-filled moments. The first 30 minutes of the second half are bit dragging, but soon it manages to create interest among the viewers.
