Prince

Director Om Prakash Rao is making his comeback with Challenging star Darshan's latest movie Prince after the debacle of his movie Huli. Although his latest Kannada film has a few sequence lifted from Tamil and Telugu movies, he has made it a complete commercial entertainer by mixing revenge, action, sentiment and comedy in it. The director should be applauded for his wonderful narration in the flick.

The film Prince is an action-cum-romantic movie and Darshan's electrifying performance is major highlight of the film. V Harikrishna's music, Veenus Murthy's camera work, Rangayana Raghu's comedy, MS Ramesh's dialogues, nerve raking action scenes and Om Prakash Rao's intelligent narration are the other highlights of the film. The minus point of the film is that the director has mixed up a few sequences and storyline of non Kannada films, which may disappoint the movie buffs.

Prince is a revenge saga in which the hero takes on the murderer of his pregnant wife. Despite using the scenes from other films, Om Prakash Rao has good grip over the narration on story. Nowhere he allows the audience to go out for a break. He keeps their mind engaged with new twists and turns every now and then. Especially in the second half, he holds their attention tightly with suspense sequence. Vishuvardhan a.k.a Vishnu (Darshan) attains higher position with his intelligence. He falls in love with Anjali (Nikitha Thukral) and marries her, but she is killed when she is pregnant. He takes on the murderer and kills one of the three cops, which leads to suspicions and forced for CBI investigation into the case. How Vishnu changes his name to Rajkumar and clears the case will for the crux of the story.
