S Narayan's brother director S Govind had directed challenging star Darshan starrer movie Bhopati earlier. He had tried to show him with a new image, but the movie turned out to be an utter plop. Now he has been tried his luck with Ravichandran's brother Balaji, who is known for his Aham Brahmasmi. Balaji has already failed in his two movies to create a hero image for himself.
