Yuva 2009

Earlier, director Narendra Babu had tried his luck with two low budget movies. Both the movies Oh Gulabiye and Pallakki were romantic films and were average hit movies at the Box Office. But this time, he decided to do a movie with big budget. He has fusioned North Indian technicians with south Indian talents and tried to give a feeling of Hollywood through the Kannada movie Yuva.

Narendra Babu’s movie Yuva is a fast paced action thriller. The movie concentrates more on action rather than waving of swords and sickles. Along with Thriller Manju, Bollywood action director Cheetah Yagna Shetty, who has trained many Bollywood actors, has brought out marshal art in all the fight sequences. He has directed wonderful action scenes in Golkond Fort and Ramnagar hilly region, where superhit Bollywood movie Sholay was shot in 1975.


Another plus point of the movie is Bollywood choreographers Saroj Khan and Akbar Khan directed dance sequences. Camera work by Santanio Tarzio and wonderful locations also contribute lot more to the movie. Gurukiran’s music makes the movie run smoothly.
