It
was
a
confident
and
straight
forward
Darshan
we
met
recently
when
he
started
speaking
about
his
next
release
Thangigaagi
produced
by
H.N.Maruthi
and
A.R.Raju
and
directed
by
P.N.Sathya.
The
lanky
actor
who
is
acquiring
Super
Star
status
with
some
big
hits
from
last
few
months
met
with
the
media
men
very
freely
to
exchange
some
of
his
thoughts
on
the
new
film.
While
in
the
official
press
conference
that
was
held
to
promote
the
film
the
producer,
director
and
other
artists
spoke
about
the
high
level
of
co-operation
from
Darshan,
the
actor
himself
was
quite
subdued
about
his
own
contribution
for
the
film.
"I
can
talk
about
my
role.
I
am
very
happy
with
the
way
my
role
has
shaped'
says
Darshan
who
says
that
the
producers
have
not
spared
any
efforts
to
make
the
film
a
big
production.
Dharshan"I
had
seen
the
original
Tamil
film
Tiruppachchi
when
I
was
shooting
for
Shashtri
in
Chennai.
I
had
immensely
liked
it.
When
the
producers
approached
me
with
the
rights
of
the
film,
I
had
clearly
told
them
that
the
film
has
to
be
made
with
the
same
elegance
and
production
values
of
the
original
Tamil
film.
They
agreed
to
my
suggestion
and
have
spent
a
huge
sum
for
the
film.
It
is
well
projected
on
the
screen.
Sathya
has
also
written
some
punch
dialogues
for
the
film
which
will
be
liked
by
my
fans.
There
is
the
usual
quote
of
fights,
but
the
film
is
about
a
brother
who
goes
to
fight
a
cruel
system
for
saving
his
sister.
Therefore
there
is
lot
of
sentimental
elements
in
the
film'
says
Darshan.
'The
hero's
role
in
Thangigaagi
perfectly
suits
an
action
hero
like
Darshan.
His
body
language,
dialogue
delivery
every
thing
is
extremely
good.
The
film
is
full
of
commercial
elements
and
it
is
bound
to
attract
his
fans
in
large
numbers.
I
hope
even
the
female
fans
will
watch
this
film
with
lot
of
interest'
says
the
film's
director
P.N.Sathya.
